Issues-Manor Garden Allotments

Manor Garden Allotments, a haven of gardens, wildlife and community gatherings, once to be found tucked away in Industrial Hackney, East London. Forever lost to the Olympic site, the gardens are being transformed into a concrete landscape to feature a large screen tv and footpath.

I wanted to document the life and colour that took me by surprise, so unexpected, so much at loss.

What becomes of the sheds, the trees, the plastic, the waste, the memories.

Buried

Hung out to dry

Gone elsewhere
